The Den in Starfield is an essential place in Starfield to sell goods and merchandise of all kinds, especially contraband. We’ll show you in this guide where to find them!
What is so special about the Den? In addition to a Trade Authority store, you’ll find a Trade Authority kiosk in the space station with the somewhat contradictory name “The Den”. It allows you to sell goods worth 18,000 credits in one day. Besides, your ship is near here at all times and there are chairs where you can skip time effortlessly. You can quickly jump forward to a new day and earn 18,000 credits again.
However, the best thing about trading in The Den is that the stores where you offer your goods aren’t inspected for contraband. That means, unlike New Atlantis or Neon, you can turn hot goods into cash in The Den without any problems. Especially at the beginning of the game, this is very useful if you don’t yet have a shielded cargo hold or other ways to cover up your contraband.

The vast universe of Starfield is home to countless locations and destinations. Theoretically, every single one of them is easy to reach. Of course, only if you have the appropriate coordinates or know exactly where to look. But that’s what we’re here for! To show you where to find The Den in Starfield.
Open your map and view the star systems. The Den is located in the Wolf system. This is opposite the Sol system, to the right above Alpha Centauri. Zoom into the Wolf system and look for a planet called Chthonia on the left side of the map. In the orbit of this planet, you will find The Den.
How To Dock At The Space Station “The Den”
Docking to the small space station works the same way as with all other space stations:
- Reduce the distance to the station to less than 500 meters (Docking will not work if the distance is more than 500 meters).
- Use the E-key on the PC and the A-key on the Xbox to activate your scanner.
- Start the docking with R (PC) or X (Xbox)
Next you will see a small sequence where your ship docks with the space station. Finally, you have to hold down R or X to enter the station. You can also walk through your spaceship to the intermediate hatch.
