In Warzone 2, one of the most powerful SMG is the Lachmann Sub, and we've put together the best loadout and class setup for you to maximize your skill with it. In this weapon loadout guide, we'll also show you which Perks, Sidearm & Gadgtes are best to take with you for the Lachmann Sub.
The Lachmann Sub is a fully automatic submachine gun and should be known to every player as the MP5 from older Call of Duty games. This loadout guide focuses on short range and an aggressive play styles.
But who are we to tell you what the best loadouts are in Warzone 2? The shooter fans at Guided.news have collectively sunk around 2,000 hours into Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 1. We've reported on this in the past as well! We are certainly not the best players in Warzone 2, but we try to find the best loadout and class setup for you every time. And if you disagree, we'd love to read your comments on the loadout -- it's the only way we'll get better!
Why are these the best attachments for the Lachmann MP? We tried to build a healthy mix of ADS speed, recoil control and damage range here. This is hard to do, and is most detrimental to ADS speed, but for Warzone 2 this is not a tragedy. Still, the VLK LZR 7 provides a little compensation in ADS speed. On the other hand, the attachments like Singuard MKV and FTAC M-Sub 12" provide the promised recoil control and damage range. Thanks to stock Meer Recoil we get even less recoil.
Modern Warfare 2 has countless perks and mal perk packs that you can choose from to get started quickly. However, for this Lachmann Sub Loadout, a pre-made perk pack is not enough and you should adopt our choice as you need a secondary weapon.
Why these perks? With the help of Battle Steeled, you are safe from Stun, Blend or Shock Grenades and can focus more on the fight. Overkill is there to compensate for the Lachmann Sub and its low range. As a third perk you can choose Ghost to stay undetected from enemy radar systems or scanners.

Secondary weapons are not that relevant in the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2, but they are mostly necessary for survival in Warzone. Since the Lachmann Sub is only meant for close combat, we recommend the Lachmann-762 as a secondary weapon, which can make the difference over medium to long range with the right attachments. But you can also pick a Sniper Rifle for this loadout!
Choose the Lachmann-762:
Here you can find the detailed loadout for the Lachmann-762.
The Lachmann Sub is not available from the beginning, but you have to unlock it. To play the Lachmann Sub you first have to play the Lachmann-762 up to level 13. From then on you can play the Lachmann-556 and have to bring it to level 12. Once you are level 12 with the Lachmann-556, you have unlocked the Lachmann Sub.
