You can now play the Gorenko anti-tank sniper in Call of Duty Warzone. With the right attachments, this sniper becomes the absolute one shot beast in Warzone. In this article we present you the best loadout for the Gorenko, all attachments as well as the best perks and sidearm in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded.
In the last few days, the new Sniper Gorenko stormed the hearts and loadouts of Warzone players and has since been considered the best sniper in the game. The reason for this is the potential to blow an enemy out of their digital boots with just one hit. To make sure you succeed, we’ll now show you the best meta loadout for the Gorenko Anti Tank.
Warzone: The best Gorenko Loadout and Setup in Season 5 Reloaded
In Warzone, you’re dependent on every shot being on target anyway, and then preferably doing a decent amount of damage. If you consider yourself more of a sniper and less of a frontline hog, then you should give the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper a chance. For the absolute best Gorenko Loadout in Warzone Season 5, you should find a good combination with an SMG — more on that later.
The best attachments in the Gorenko Loadout
|Muzzle||Mercury Silencer||Muzzle Velocity|
|Barrel||240mm Zac Rapid||Fire Rate|
Sprint to Fire Speed
|Scope||1913 Variable 4-8x||Magnification Toggle|
|Stock||Marksman Stock||ADS Speed|
Hip fire Accuracy
|Underbarrel||GF-59 Flashlight||Damage Range||-|
|Ammo||FMJ Rounds||Bullet Penetration||-|
|Grip||Stippled Grip||Recoil Reduction||Hip Fire Accuracy|
Why these attachments? The Mercury Silencer is an absolute must for the Gorenko, otherwise it will be loudly audible over extremely long distances. Where most sources recommend you go with the 420mm Empress for the barrel, however, we would go with the 240mm Zac Rapid. The reason is the Gorenko’s increased rate of fire, fast aiming (ADS Time), and increased movement speed. Also, we recommend the Marksman Stock and not the often used Reinforced Stock (reinforced shoulder stock). The former offers better overall optimization in terms of recoil and ADS Time.
We also do not use an interchangeable magazine. There are many magazines that would make the best Gorenko Loadout in Warzone Season 5 even “better”. At least, if that’s what the tradeoffs are worth to you:
No magazine attachment – Why you shouldn’t
- AM 3-shot Fast Mag: Decreases ammo capacity by -2 bullets. In return, improves movement speed and reload time.
- AM 7-shot magazine: Increases ammo capacity by +2 bullets. In return, the ADS time deteriorates immensely by 26 ms. Movement speed also deteriorates.
- AM 10-round magazine: Increases ammo capacity by +5 bullets. ADS time worsens by 29 ms and movement speed suffers.
If you want to carry the larger magazine, then you should go for the 10-round magazine. Compared to the 7-round magazine, you get 3 more bullets for just 3 ms longer ADS time. We still recommend: The best loadout for the Gorenko in the current Warzone Season 5 is with the standard magazine.
The Best Perks & Extras for the Gorenko Class
- Perk 1 – Discard: Lets you reload completely emptied magazines 2 seconds faster. Partially emptied magazines 1 second faster.
- Perk 2 – On-Hand: ADS time is reduced by 12 ms.
- Extra 1 – Cold Blooded: You are not detected by AI target systems and thermal sights. You also don’t trigger the alert warning and combat scouts ignore you.
- Extra 2 – Overkill: Allows you to carry two primary weapons.
- Extra 3 – Rev Up: 40% reduction in field equipment recharge time. You revive teammates 25% faster.
This is the Result of our Gorenko Setup

|Strafe||3.02 m/s||➜||3.01 m/s|
This is the sidearm you should play in the Warzone Gorenko Loadout.
With the Gorenko Anti Tank you play a heavy sniper, the best one to be exact. But this gun choice comes with a drawback: at short ranges, you’ll lose most fights to faster weapons. Assault rifles and submachine guns are clearly superior to the Gorenko in Warzone due to their rate of fire in close combat. In order for you to fight back effectively, you’ll need a fast-firing weapon.
When it comes to extras for this Gorenko loadout in Warzone Season 5, we’ve recommended Overkill. With Overkill, you can now wield a second main weapon, such as an MP.
The only correct choice here is the Armaguerra 43 (see below for a complete guide). Combine the two weapons with our Warzone builds and you’ll never be stopped again. Well, maybe by other players with this build.
Secondary Weapon Armaguerra 43
