In this guide, we'll tell you everything you need to know about Wyll in BG3 and explain to you what steps you need to follow to get the best ending.
Baldur's Gate 3 allows you to go through a bunch of storylines of different characters and provides numerous endings for each of them. Each step you take or choice of a line in the dialog can affect the final ending of the character's story. While completing the quest to save Halsin in Goblin Camp, you will come across an ambiguous character named Wyll.
Wyll's story is quite twisted, as he received his Warlock powers from the devil Mizora in exchange for his obligation to perform various tasks for her. After the battle in the quest where you saved Halsin, you can invite Wyll to join your party. The first quest Mizora will give him is to kill the Barbarian Tiefling, Karlach.
The talk between Wyll and Karlach will end in conflict, but don't rush to attack Wyll. You can calm him down and thus also invite Karlach to join your team. Of course, Mizora will not tolerate Wyll's failure to keep his promise and will punish him by giving him horns.

While playing through Baldur's Gate 3 Wyll storyline, you will learn that a vital figure in Baldur's Gate, Duke Ravengard, who is Wyll's father, is imprisoned. Mizora will provide you with this information and offer to help you rescue his father in exchange for eternal power over his soul.
She can provide you with information about the location of Duke Ravengard in exchange for a signed contract so that you can immediately go to rescue Wyll's father. However, she will also tell you that if you reject her deal, Duke will die in great agony.
After signing the contract, you will start the side quest Rescue the Grand Duke, but whether you complete it or not, you will remain a slave to Mizora forever.
You can break the pact with Mizora, and then you will find out that she was lying to you and that Duke Ravengard is actually alive. However, you won't be able to unlock the Rescue the Grand Duke quest, which will make it harder to find him.
We recommend choosing this option, as Wyll will still use his Warlock abilities, right until you defeat the Absolute, and you can still rescue Duke Ravengard. In addition, in the final scene of this storyline, Wyll will turn into a normal human.
