The Glide Armor Set from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom increases Link’s mobility in flight and protects him from enemy attacks. This guide tells you where you can get this armor set, and what you have to do to get it.
Here’s the deal: Link is also a fabulous glider pilot in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, but there are special armor pieces, the Glide Armor Set, that enhance his hovering skills even further. And because it isn’t protective clothing, this Klamotteria also reduces the damage taken from enemy attacks.
It’s an armor set that you’ll definitely want to have in your inventory. Below, we’ll explain how to get the said three pieces of armor.

Zelda TotK: Here You Can Get the Glide Armor Set
Attention: For this task Link needs a high endurance! Go to the area southeast of Lindor’s Brow. It’s quite a bit northeast of Hyrule Bridge. On the map you’ll see a medium-sized lake with an island in the middle.
On it is a tower whose device shoots Link hundreds of meters into the sky. That’s exactly what you want to do now: stand on the blue glowing platform inside the tower and let the hero catapult into the sky.

Once you’ve reached about maximum altitude, you’ll see a stone island (“Courage Island”) with a kind of temple floating in the air further down. At this place you’ll get the glide armor set, so open the glider and float there relaxed.
Once you’ve landed, interact with the green-blue holography of the stone portal. A holographic ring will appear further back. Jump through it and then glide through all the other rings until you land in a large stone pool full of water.

Now talk to the construct near the ruins. It wants to test your courage by letting you glide through holographic rings again. This time, however, you have to beat a best time. If you manage to do that, you’ll get the upper part of the Glide Armor, the Glide Shirt.

You are now north of the Great Hyrule Forest. Behind you, you’ll see another “catapult tower”. You know what to do. Now repeat the whole game: glide to the next test of courage on the air island at coordinates 0236, 2116, 0847. There you will get the Glide Pants.
Your last goal is the air island at coordinates 4430, -0844, 1158. Beating the best time will get you the third part of the set, the Glide Mask. And that’s it: congratulations on your new armor set.
