In the new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there is an Awakening Armor Set that makes Link look exactly like he did in the remake of the classic Link's Awakening. We'll show you how to get all the pieces of the set.

What it's about: The Awakening Armor Set consists of a total of three different pieces:

  • Tunic
  • Mask
  • Trousers

In this guide, we'll show you where and how to find these pieces.

If you don’t know exactly where to start looking, check out our interactive map or the guide to the locations of all shrines. If you are looking for a specific shrine, you can easily find it, as well as other helpful guides, in our sorted guide overview.

How to get the Awakening Armor Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Awakening Tunic

Let's start with the first part of the set, the Awakening Tunic. You'll find this robe in the far west of Hyrule, south of Hebra.

Go to the coordinates -3446, 0461, 0278. There you will find a collection of stone pillars. On the top of the thickest pillar is a switch that activates when you stand on it. This opens an entrance to a cave where you can collect the tunic.

Awakening Mask

The next step is the Awakening Mask. For this, you have to go to the coordinates -2307, 0890, 0111. On this plateau, you will again find stone pillars, which are set up in a circular shape. In the middle of them is the entrance to the cave where the mask lies. Opening it works similarly to the Awakening Tunic.

You have to activate the lever on the southern pillar. However, it must remain pressed permanently. So you have to build a heavy construct with Ultrahand, for example, out of 4 tree trunks and a Zonai stake. You can also take nine Zonai stakes and glue them together.

Important: When you glue your construct to the switch with Ultrahand, it must be noon! So if you come at a different time of day, light up a bonfire and wait until it's noon again.

Awakening Trousers

To complete Awakening Armor Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you'll need to travel to the ruins of the Colosseum at coordinates -1129, -1188, and -0046. On the far wall of the huge arena is a knight's armor without a sword. The matching blade is just to the right of it. Use Ultrahand to connect the sword and the armor.

Once you've done that, the entrance to the cave opens right next to it, where you'll get the Awakening Trousers.
