Assassin’s Creed Jade offers surprisingly extensive gameplay for a mobile story-based game, as revealed to us by Lead Designer Andrei Chan in an interview. Now, we’ll share how long Assassin’s Creed Jade will be in terms of how many hours you can truly immerse yourself in the story and side activities.
What’s it About? Guided News had the opportunity last week to interview Assassin’s Creed Jade Lead Designer Andrei Chan. Here, we learned about the size of the open world in AC: Jade, among other things. During the interview, Chan also revealed more about the gameplay duration of Assassin’s Creed Jade and the DLC plans for the mobile game.
How long is Assassin’s Creed Jade? Total Playtime for the Story revealed
During the interview, Chan explained that at release, Assassin’s Creed Jade is expected to offer approximately 10 hours of gameplay, mainly referring to completing the main story. Side missions and open-world activities are expected to add an undefined amount of hours on top of this.
This places Assassin’s Creed Jade between Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation (8 hours) and Assassin’s Creed Revelations (12 hours). For comparison, other Assassin’s Creed titles have the following completion times for their main stories (via howlongtobeat.com):
- AC: Rogue – 10.5 hours
- AC: 3 – 14.5 hours
- AC: Brotherhood – 15.5 hours
- AC 4: Black Flag – 23.5 hours
- AC: Valhalla – 61 hours
During the current testing phase, Assassin’s Creed Jade already offers a total of 4 hours of gameplay. During this time, we were able to complete side activities and open-world boss battles.

What DLC plans are there for Assassin’s Creed Jade?
In addition to discussing of how long Assassin’s Creed Jade will be, Chan also explained that the story doesn’t end after the main game. On the contrary, there are plans to release full-fledged story DLCs in the future. These DLCs will take players to distant lands, and the story will intersect with other installments in the series.

One confirmed DLC will involve a visit to Kassandra (from Odyssey & Valhalla), who, at the time of Jade, is in ancient Rome maintaining order.
