Rust Easter Event has Started: Every Content & How to Activate it on the Server

The Rust Easter Event 2022 has started and players can look forward to a little gift in the form of eggs that drop different items. Guided author Kevin Willing will now tell you what else the Easter event in Rust has to offer.

What's going on? Yesterday, the Easter event in Rust started. At least on all servers where the admins have activated the event. At the end of the article, we explain how you can bring Easter to your Rust server.

These are the contents of the Rust Easter Event 2022

How the event works: During this year's Easter, you can collect eggs in Rust as usual. You then combine the collected eggs into large packages. You can combine these packages again to bigger packages and get better and better loot. But how does it work?

1. When an egg hunt starts, Rust shows you this at the top of the screen.
2. Now you have to unpack your egg basket and get ready.
3. Glittering eggs will appear everywhere around you, and you have to collect them.
4. Whoever collects the most eggs on the server will get a bonus when the time runs out.

This is how you get the loot: The collected eggs don't bring you anything in their original form. You have to combine 5 eggs to a bronze egg. From 10 bronze eggs you get 1 silver egg and from 10 silver eggs you get 1 gold egg. Bronze, silver and gold eggs promise different quality loot, with the best items dropping from the golden egg. Here again clearly arranged:

• 5x eggs = 1x bronze egg
• 10x Bronze Eggs = 1x Silver Egg
• 10x Silver Eggs = 1x Gold Egg

The contents of the eggs consist of building or crafting materials, ammo, and even weapons. As mentioned earlier, the quality of these items depends heavily on the egg you open.

How to activate the Rust Easter 2022 event on your server

While the event is active, it should run at least once a day on the official servers. Even server owners who have not changed anything in their config should get the event once per day.

To start the event more often than once a day, you have to type the command: "spawn egghunt" as admin in the game. Then a timer ticks down and the event starts.
