Here's what's going on: In the second gameplay showcase video from Hogwarts Legacy's developers, there is again a great flood of information. One particularly exciting point of this video is the structure of the open world and how you can explore it. The developers have put a lot of effort into designing the world around Hogwarts so that it invites you to explore it in day and night and in different seasons.
How to travel the World: in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll not only explore the interior of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You'll also be able to travel through vast areas around the imposing building. To do this, you'll not only be able to use the broom that everyone expects. You can also use a hippogryph to move on the ground and in the air. However, the hippogryph is only available as a pre-order bonus, and we don't yet know if you'll be able to tame similar flying creatures in the game.
The familiar broom is supposed to be much faster than the hippogryph when exploring, but it can only be used for locomotion in the air. With the Hippogryph, on the other hand, you can switch between moving on the ground and in the air. So even though you'll be slower than with the broom, the hippogryph offers its advantages.
