Along with the preload of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which is already available now, you also already get the first patch against performance problems.
The huge leak of the entire Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game last week was a complete disaster for Nintendo. Since this unwilling leak, new footage and gameplay have been popping up frequently. Recently, for example, the location of the legendary Master Sword was leaked.
As annoying as the whole thing understandably is for the publisher, it also has a small advantage. The performance issues that occurred can be fixed with a patch right at release.
Preload of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom contains Patch 1.1.0
If you have pre-ordered the game in digital form, you can download it now with the preload and start your journey through Hyrule on Friday at 00:01 the dot. Thanks to patch 1.1.0, which you will receive with the preload, you will hopefully be spared from annoying stutters and halting cutscenes.
At least that’s what Reddit users who already own the game are saying.

Through the official previews, it became known that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom suffers from not insignificant performance problems. These will probably be fixed by the patch for the most part. Stable 30 FPS should no longer be a concern. However, the recently circulated 60 FPS mod will still likely run poorly.
