Even in Early Access, Sons of the Forest has a number of useful items scattered all over the map. Our guide contains a list of all the items in the game, and shows you a tool that will help you easily track down each object.
This is what it’s all about: Sons of the Forest may have only been released in Early Access five days ago, but the survival game’s content is already very well documented, if not comprehensive for now. Although the game area is significantly larger than that of the predecessor, the island world is not (yet) nearly as full of interesting things.
After all, the list of items discovered by players so far totals 110 entries. So if you want to own all the useful items, tools, and weapons, you’re in for quite a challenge. That means: Not with this guide! Here you will find out exactly which items are waiting to be picked up in Sons of the Forest. We’ll also introduce you to a tool that reveals the locations of all objects.

This is How You Find All Items in Sons of the Forest
On the Mapgenie website you can find an interactive map of the island of Sons of the Forest. It is full of markers that provide information about the exact positions of places or things. It is divided into six categories: locations, collectibles, regular items, natives, wildlife and miscellaneous.
The best thing about the interactive map is that it has numerous display filters. For example, if you’re looking for weapons, you can click on the “Hide all” option in the left-hand navigation and deactivate the “Weapons” filter a bit further down. You will then see only weapon-related markers on the map. The same goes for the many other filter options like chests, clothing, equipment, tape and so on.

In combination with the item list below, you can get most of the objects in a short time. We will of course keep this list up to date; the next update for Sons of the Forest is announced for the 9th of March.
