Enshrouded: How to Find the Carpenter

In Enshrouded you have to survive in a world full of dangers, but in your spare time from battles, you probably prefer to develop your base and various decorative items for it. And if you want to make excellent items, you should know the location of a Carpenter.

Where to Find the Carpenter in Enshrouded

Head to this location to find the Carpenter.

Like other NPC Crafters, the Carpenter will become available after some progress. To be more precise, we first had to save the Alchemist. After this, Balthazar gave us a quest called Carpentry Assistance. As soon as you receive this quest, you will immediately know where to find the Carpenter, namely in the Ancient Vault - Carpenter in the southeast of the world. The point you need will be marked on the map, but to get there, you have to make some preparations.

How to Get the Carpenter Soul in Enshrouded

So, before you send for Carpenter Soul in Enshrouded, you need to meet several conditions:

• Get the Glider, as it will significantly speed up your path to the Ancient Vault.
• Craft a Grasping Hook to make your journey easier.
• Take with you as much food and other consumables as possible to heal.
• Take your best weapons and armor, especially if you are still low-level.

Having done all this, you can finally go searching for a new friend for your base. And this is the path we recommend you use:

• First, we fast-traveled to Springlands Ancient Spire.
• Then, we jumped off the edge closest to the Ancient Vault and glided down to the hills below.
• After this, we recommend that you do not run straight to the marker on the compass, but climb various hills and structures to glide part of the way.

This way, we got to the Ancient Vault, which is, of course, surrounded by Shroud. Therefore, you should move as quickly as possible at this stage. There will be quite a few enemies on your way, including flying ones. So we recommend using ranged weapons while searching for the Carpenter in Enshrouded. Then, move towards the marker on the compass until you hit a wall with a brazier next to it.

To get further, we had to use Explosive Powder Balls, but a Pickaxe will also work. In the next room you will find another annoying enemy, luckily the last one. Finally, take the Carpenter Soul and get out of there so you can quickly travel to the base. After that, all you have to do is use the Summoning Staff in the shelter to get Carpenter in Enshrouded.

What Can the Carpenter do in Enshrouded?

Like the other NPCs you can unlock in Enshrouded, Carpenter offers you several unique crafting recipes. Of course, most of them are decorative, but you will need some to progress:

• Kiln
• Table Saw
• Magic Chests
• Improved Grappling Hook
• Ghost Glider
• Extraordinary Glider
• Advanced Glider

One of the most useful, in our opinion, is Magic Chests. Everything you put into these Chests can be used for crafting at your base. In other words, you no longer have to check each Chest for the necessary resources before crafting something. Also, although Magic Chests come in different sizes, their special ability is the same.
