As already mentioned, you can farm these valuable components in and around the Umbra Crater by slaying the large red mushroom enemies there. These monsters usually drop several of the highly desired glands at once. The quickest way to reach the crater requires short fast travel to the Nomad Heights Ancients Spire and a short flight south from there.
If you are trying to farm the Ammonia Glands, you should concentrate on ranged attacks. The mushrooms are extremely strong in close combat. They emit clouds of poison at regular distances, causing ridiculously high damage and killing you in an instant. Even after they die, such a cloud remains for a short time. So don't be too hasty when it comes to collecting your loot.
The reddish Ammonia Glands are required for numerous things in Enshrouded, as well as most other resources. You will need them at the latest if you want to strengthen your flame to level five. However, the glands are also required for some crafting recipes, including leather and fabric.
