The process of crafting Dried Fur.
Before you can craft Dried Fur, you will need to collect Animal Fur. Luckily, this resource is quite common and you can quickly find the required amount. We have found 2 methods of obtaining Animal Fur, so let's talk about them in more detail.
The first method is hunting animals. It is fast, effective, and easy because almost every animal you can meet in the forest drops Fur. Here's a list of animals from which we obtained Animal Fur:
An alternative would be to collect Fur Patches and then process them into Animal Fur with the help of a Hunter. Let's start with Fur Patches. Similar to Animal Fur, you can get them by hunting animals, but in this case smaller ones, namely rats. Rats can be found in the basements of houses, such as Harvest Homestead, or other abandoned, damp, and dirty places.
The next requirement is to find the Huntress. The Huntress is one of the five survivors that you can rescue and invite to your base. The Huntress will probably be the second NPC you rescue, so even for beginners, it shouldn't take long. If you don't know where to go, just start completing the "Huntress becomes hunted" quest and you'll reach her location. After freeing Huntress, you can interact with her and finally get access to various recipes, including those for crafting Animal Fur. To craft Animal Fur, you will need the following resources:
Of the two methods listed above, we recommend using the first one, as it is much faster and more efficient, but it's up to you which one to choose.
Dried Fur recipe.
So when you get at least one Animal Fur, you can turn it into Dried Fur. To achieve this, you will need to use the Drying Rack and place the following resources there:

Now let's talk about the Salt. Luckily, you won't have any problems getting this resource, as Egerton Salt Mines, which is located to the west of Springlands Ancient Spire, contains so many deposits of this resource that you'll probably run out of Animal Fur rather than Salt.
So, after gathering all the resources, placing them in the Drying Rack, and waiting a few minutes, you will finally get Dried Fur and can use it for various crafts, which are quite a few.
