While exploring the School of Wizardry in Hogwarts Legacy, you will eventually come across the bell tower in the west of Hogwarts. We’ll tell you how to solve the puzzle and what reward awaits you.
Here’s what’s going on: If you are on the road in Hogwarts at the beginning of your adventure and explore every corner, you will eventually find the bell tower with the music room. If you go up the tower, you’ll see that 2 bells are missing. This is where the puzzle begins.

How to Solve the Puzzle in the Bell Tower of Hogwarts
To solve the puzzle in the Hogwarts Bell Tower, there are 2 ways. A complicated method and an easy one. Unfortunately, you will only be able to use the complicated method at the beginning because you are missing important spells.
Method 1: The 2 missing bells can be found in the bell tower. You have to put them in the right position, and they will automatically rehang. To do this, use 2 spells: Livioso and Accio.
Enchant the bells with Livioso, which makes them float in the air. You can then pull them towards you with Accio. Here you have to be careful that the bell doesn’t get stuck anywhere. Now always go up 1 or 2 stairs higher than the place where the bell belongs and set the bell down first.
Now you go down until between you and the bell is the bell’s suspension. If you now conjure the bell towards you with Accio while Livioso is still active, the bell will fly in its trajectory to the appropriate place. As you can see, this is very complicated, and it takes a lot of time to get it right.
Method 2: It’s much easier to ignore the puzzle for now and move forward in your story. At some point, Professor Garlick will ask you to attack enemies with plants. As a reward, you’ll receive the Wingardium Liviosa spell, with which you’ll be able to put the bells in their place easily.
Once you have solved the puzzle and the bells are in place, they will play a melody. That’s it.
This is the Reward of the Bell Tower Puzzle
After you have completed the puzzle, nothing else happens, and of course, the question arises, what did you get out of it? Nothing at all.
That’s right. Solving the puzzle, which is not really a puzzle, does not bring you any reward. Putting the bells in their place is part of a later quest. If you have already done this part, you can skip it.
Tip: If you are already in the bell tower, climb up to the roof. There you will find a total of 4 small chests and one legendary one!
