How to Farm Solafite Ore in Sons of the Forest

After the release of the new patch 12 for Sons of the Forest, a new pickaxe has been added to the game so that you can get a new interesting, and useful resource. In this guide, we will show you how to farm Solafite Ore in Sons of the Forest.

Also in Patch 12, an enchantment table was added, and you need to have enough Solafite ore to use it. We have found all possible places where you can get this resource in good quantities, so follow our instructions to know where to look for it.

Sons of the Forest: How to Collect Solafite Ore

To mine Solafite ore, you need to get a special pickaxe that was added in the new patch. In order to get it, you will have to follow these steps:

• Head to Cave F, which was added in the new patch. You can see its location in the screenshot below.

• You can get inside the cave by finding a small hole in the ground with a rope leading inside. We recommend bringing a light source to help you navigate in the dark.
• After you get inside, the first obstacle you will face is an underwater passage, so we recommend taking a rebreather with you before exploring this cave.
• Then, when you swim to the surface and walk a little further along the path, you will come to a crossroads where one of the passages is barricaded. You don't need to break through it, just turn right.
• After you go through the right passage, you'll slide down to another underwater passage, where you'll need to stick to the right side to swim to the right place.
• As soon as you emerge from the water, you will run into a broken barricaded passage, and after passing through it, you will be forced to swim underwater again.
• After you swim through another flooded cave, you will see three hanged bodies when you emerge. You need to bypass them and follow the path to the left to come across a ladder with a pickaxe stuck in the ore.

After you get the aforementioned pickaxe, you can easily mine Solafite to use it in the enchantment table.

Sons of the Forest: Where to Find Solafite Ore

You can find Solafite, a shining golden hue mineral, on cave walls. This resource is usually found in the deepest parts of caves in the form of ore clusters, mostly near points of interest or artifacts. Here is a list of all the locations where you can find Solafite ore:

• Cave F (The cave where you could find a pickaxe)
• Cave B
• Cave C
• Cave D
• Entertainment Bunker
• Luxury Bunker

Please note that you can only wear 12 Solafite ore at a time. To use the enchantment table, you need to have 6 units of this resource.
