Like most major current new game releases, Starfield has quite a few bugs and glitches that have not been fixed yet. If you can’t leave your seat on the ship or in the simulator, our guide on how to fix the stuck in pilot seat glitch in Starfield will help you.
Xbox users are much less likely to experience bugs, and this one is no exception. If you can’t get out of your seat, you’re probably playing on a PC. So if your E button is not responding to your commands, we have found a few solutions that may help you.
Stuck in Pilot Seat Glitch Fix in Starfield
Apparently, the glitch occurs because the E button is configured for a large number of commands. It could also be because you changed the key bindings. Here are the solutions that may help you:
- Try to re-bind the E key or reset the control to the default settings.
- Restart the game. Sometimes it helps.
- You may be able to get out if you press the key responsible for crouching. It sounds strange, but it also helped some players
- You can also use the console command “movetoqt”. But keep in mind that this will disable the achievements, and you can only get them back with mods.
