The Infernal Robe is an extremely powerful armor that protects you from fire and deals fire damage to others. Most players think that they should sacrifice the cool Karlach to get it, but after reading this guide, you will learn how to get Infernal Robe without killing Karlach in Baldur's Gate 3.

Until recently, this was considered impossible, but we’ve been scrolling through Reddit and found a way. We have personally tested it, and it worked! We'll tell you all the necessary steps you need to take to achieve the desired result.

BG3: How to Get Infernal Robe Without Killing Karlach

BG3: Infernal Robe

We want to reassure you right away that this method does not require you to enter console commands or download third-party programs. The whole point of the system bypass is based on the developers' mistakes that we have taken advantage of. To get the Infernal Robe without killing Karlach, you will need to spend a few minutes of time, most of which is spent on cutscenes. So, here's how to do it:

  1. Recruit Wyll to your team.
  2. Get to the point where you have to meet with Karlach. Ungroup and go alone, this is important.
  3. When you see Karlach, don't get too close to her. Instead, get a ranged weapon and attack until you kill her.
  4. Once you've done that, go back to the camp to talk to Wyll and tell him about Karlach.
  5. After talking to Wyll, don’t take a long rest. Instead, go back to Karlach's corpse and revive her, but again, don't get too close.
  6. Now, go back to the camp and take a long rest. By doing so, you will trigger the cutscene in which Mizora will come to Wyll. Since you killed Karlach, she will reward Wyll with an Infernal Robe.
  7. After completing the dialog with Mizora and getting the Infernal Robe, take the rest.
  8. When it does, return to the location where Karlach is located to trigger the cutscene. That way, you can recruit her to your team as before.

And that's it, without any extra effort, cheats, or console commands, you've achieved the desired result. Now you have both a powerful gear and an equally powerful companion, good luck.
