How to Use Scimitar & Longsword Mould in BG 3

Once you have the Scimitar Mould, you can use it to craft a new weapon, the Adamantine Scimitar. To accomplish this, in addition to the mold itself, you need Mithral Ore, which you can extract from a rock near Adamantine Forge. When you have all the necessary resources, head to Adamantine Forge. When you are there, you need to do the following to craft the required item:

  1. Insert your Scimitar or Longsword Mould into the Mould Chamber
  2. Load Crucible with Mithral Ore
  3. Release the Lava Valve
  4. Pull the Forge Lever until the large hammer drops onto the Crucible
  5. Pick up your finished gear, which will drop out of the Mould Chamber.

Note: you can only use the Adamantine Forge after you kill the boss Grym.
