BG3: How to Get Silver Sword of the Astral Plane
There are two different ways to receive the sword from Kith`rak Voss. There is another one in which you get the sword in Act 1, but it looks like a bug, and you will need to create a specific character for this. This may be fixed, so we won’t talk about this method.
Whether you can get the sword will be determined by your first encounter with Voss. You will meet him in Mountain Pass when he flies on a dragon searching for a certain weapon. You need not kill him then to open the storyline in which he will give the sword. Also, you shouldn’t kill him if you meet him at any other place. After some time, he will come to you at night to Campsite and ask you to unite to help his people.

To move on, you must have the Orphic Hammer which can be obtained from the House of Hope in Act 3. There you can get it from Raphael in exchange for a promise to bring him the Crown of Karsus. But you can also steal it, though.
Then you have two options to choose from:
- Make a deal with Raphael in Devil’s Den. Later, during the conversation with Voss in Sharess’ Caress, you need to show the Orphic Hammer, and he will give you the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane.
- You can also refuse or even kill Raphael and still get the reward. Then you can meet Voss later in the Undercity where he will also need to see the Orphic Hammer. It may be that you won’t find him there, but in that case, Voss will definitely be at the Morphic Pool.
