This is the choice of the player who doesn’t want to control several characters at once but focuses on one of them. Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how to install and play Lone Wolf.
BG3: How to Download and Install Lone Wolf Mod
Mordread256, the developer of the mod, says the following about the mod, which is very funny:
“I haven’t played tested this mod for more than about an hour but it seems stable”
Although you should easily be able to uninstall the mod and carry on we advise you to make a save file copy before installing Lone Wolf to avoid an error with the XP change.
Installing the mod does not require much effort. Instructions are below:
- Download the zip file;
- Extract it and place the folder (Public) in the game’s data files: Baldurs Gate 3\Data;
- Launch Baldur’s Gate 3.
You can deactivate the mod by deleting the same folder (Public).

Lone Wolf Modification Details
Here’s a list of the changes the mod makes:
- Double experience.
- Increased carry capacity.
- Double actions.
Also, it provides the following additional stuff:

The maximum level has been increased to 20, but you should not exceed 12 in any class, as this may cause an error to occur.
