In the main quest "Into the Underworld" of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry is tasked with finding the spy Goatskin and tracking down John of Liechtenstein. This detailed guide explains every step needed to complete the quest.

To complete "Into the Underworld", you need to find and speak with five key characters:
Your first stop is "The Noose", a tavern in Kuttenberg. It’s easy to find on the in-game map, but we’ve marked its exact location below. Once there, look for Katharina and talk to her.
Katharina mentions a spy named Goatskin, who may have intel on Johann von Liechtenstein. However, to get more details, you’ll need to speak with Chenyek, another informant who frequently visits "The Hole in the Wall" Inn, also located in Kuttenberg (see map below).
To gain Chenyek’s trust, you have a few options:
Goliath can be found in a barn behind the tavern. This is an unarmed fight, but regardless of the outcome, your effort impresses Chenyek, and he finally shares information about Goatskin’s whereabouts.
Your next lead places Goatskin somewhere between Hradek and the Horse Market. Travel to The "Black Horse" Inn and speak with the innkeeper to learn that Goatskin has a connection at the city bathhouse.
That connection is Beata, the bathhouse owner (see map below). She provides clues about Goatskin’s hideout.
Goatskin’s hideout is a dark attic located in southwest Kuttenberg. Once you reach the house (marked on the map below), look for a wagon parked outside. Climb onto it and enter through the roof window. Inside, you’ll find Goatskin sitting on the floor.
Goatskin directs you to Samuel, a Jewish resident of Kuttenberg. You can usually find him in the Jewish Quarter, near the synagogue or, in the evening, at King Solomon’s Tavern.
Samuel asks you to infiltrate a meeting of anti-Semites, which takes place at an abandoned house (marked below). The meeting only happens at night, so you won’t find anyone there during the day.
However, when you arrive, you walk into an ambush. After dealing with the attackers, Samuel reappears and finally leads you to John of Liechtenstein.
Speak with Johann and report everything you’ve discovered. This will conclude Into the Underworld and trigger the next main quest, "Via Argentum."
