How to find straw: Straw is not directly found in Medieval Dynasty. You have to look for reeds and then harvest them, this will give you straw.
Reeds grow near the shore all year round and yield about 1-2 straw per harvest. Directly north of the initial town of Gostovia, you will find plenty of reeds on the shore to build your first simple little house.
