This weapon is a reward for completing the Save Venra quest, and it’s a rather difficult task. We have prepared all the necessary instructions and recommendations on how you can do it quickly and easily.
BG3 Save Venra Quest Guide – Duellist’s Prerogative Legendary
As we said above, Duellist’s Prerogative is the reward for completing the Save Venra quest, so you need to get it first.
- Go to Basilisk Gate Barracks, which is located at the following coordinates: X:155, Y:-14. There you will find and talk to Lora, after which the quest will start.
- The next step is to craft Hag’s Bane, which is crucial for completing this quest. You’ll need to visit Old Garlow’s Place and unlock the safe that contains the recipe and ingredients for the potion, after which you can craft it. - After you craft the potion, you’ll need to go to the Blushing Mermaid and find its owner to kill her. Here are the coordinates: X:-128, Y:-87.
- Find the Capitan Grizly and talk to her, after which she will explode and you can continue your journey.
- As it turns out, the owner of the Blushing Mermaid is Auntie Ethel in disguise, and she didn’t actually die, she ran away, so you have to chase her. To do this, you will need to go down to the basement of Blushing Mermaid to find the hag there. On the way, you will encounter many enemies, so you will have to kill them to move on.
- Keep moving until you find the hag.
- After you find it, throw Hag’s Bane at Auntie Ethel. It is important to note that you must do this before killing her because otherwise the quest will not count, and you will not receive the reward.
- If you did everything right, then Auntie Ethel will free Vanra, whom she ate. After that, you need to kill the hag to prevent such incidents from happening again.

If the hag is killed and Vanra is safe, you can complete the quest by returning to Lora’s house. Here are the coordinates: X:-65, Y:-90. Talk to her and choose the first option in the dialog.
