To get into some caves in Sons of the Forest, you need diving equipment so that you don’t drown in the underwater passages. We tell you where to find the Rebreather.
What the diving equipment consists of: The diving equipment in Sons of the Forest consists of only one part; the Rebreather. You will find it in a cave north of the large map. You can also find oxygen tanks scattered around the game to replenish the oxygen.

Here You Can Find the Rebreather in Sons of the Forest.
The diving equipment is located in a cave far north of the map. To be precise, it is on the beach near a spawn point. You must clear the entrance with an axe, and you can enter the cave directly.
Caution: The cave is not uninhabited. Several mutants and cave cannibals stand in your way. With a spear, however, they are no problem. Nevertheless, take enough healing items with you. Once you have defeated the mutants and cannibals, you can work them over with the knife and receive armor that protects your life points.
In the cave itself, you will find an oxygen bottle right at the entrance, so take it with you. You will also come across numerous corpses carrying some loot. Walk deeper and deeper into the cave until you eventually come to a fork that leads slightly to the left and to the right. Keep to the left and then to the right wall.
It won’t take long until you come to a lake in the cave; at the end, you will find the Rebreather. Once you have collected the device, you can put on the Rebreather directly from the inventory and jump into the water. Here an underground tunnel leads back outside.
