How to Make a Dedicated Server in Sons of the Forest

If you want to access multiplayer, then, of course, you can start playing online in the game's main menu by creating your own host server, customizing it for yourself, and inviting your friends. • Using the Steam library, download the Sons of the Forest dedicated server, it will be located in the toolbar, or you can find it in the search bar.
• When you download this file, you will need to run it to begin the initial configuration setup in order to create the necessary configuration files for your server.
• When the above steps are completed, you will need to edit the configuration files according to your wishes. This file is usually located in "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForestDS"

1. BlobSyncPort at port 9700
2. GamePort at port 8766
3. QueryPort at port 27016

• You will also need to configure your router to enable port forwarding, here's how to do it:

1. Log in to the administrative interface of your router.
2. Find the port forwarding or virtual server setup and make three separate entries using UDP as the protocol for each of the required ports.
3. Save your changes

• After completing all the above instructions, restart the dedicated Sons of the Forest server, after which other players will be able to enter your server.
