In Sons of The Forest there are countless weapons and tools to find, one of them is the slingshot. In this guide, we will show you in which cave and behind which branch you can find the slingshot.
What is the slingshot? The slingshot is a good beginner weapon in Sons of The Forest, you can find it without much hustle and bustle or enemy contact, it uses cheap ammo and deals okay damage. So it’s definitely not for the later game, but it’s certainly suitable for the beginning. Collectors will treat themselves to the slingshot anyway, no matter what its strengths or weaknesses are!

Which cave is it? If you look closely at the island we surveyed and mapped, on the west side of the big mountain a river rises. Along this river to the west you will find a cave entrance, here you must go.
This is how you find the slingshot: you must now enter the cave, and defeat 100 mutants and 20 cannibals. Nonsense. The slingshot is carried by one of the kebab spits wearing police vests in front of the cave. From the entrance, the soldier on the right, to be exact. How to find ammunition for the slingshot?
As the name might tell you, you use stones as ammunition for the slingshot. But only the small pebbles work, which you can find mainly at rivers, on the beach or on cliffs. Just collect them with the E-key and your “magazine” is filled up. As long as you have stones in your inventory, you can shoot with the slingshot. Right now we are checking if other items can be used as ammunition. If we find suitable projectiles, we’ll update this section of the article.
