The Soldier Armor of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is one of 37 armor sets. This guide will show you how to get your hands on the militant protective gear.
Here's the deal: Although the soldier armor of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is only useful in the short term due to its low armor value, armor collectors will certainly want to have it in their inventory. However, the complete set isn't even easy to get; you can't buy it off the shelf. Below you'll learn where to find the individual parts of the soldier armor set.

To get all the pieces of the soldier armor, go to Lookout Landing (a village a bit south of Hyrule Castle). Enter the underground of the village at coordinates 0253, 0103, 0021. Just north of the ladder you climbed down, a small passage leads out of the round room. You have to walk straight ahead in this direction.
After some running, take the left branch and then run straight ahead until a cave wall stops you. The coordinates here should be -0274, 0246, -0009. Use Ascend to switch to the next higher floor.
Walk straight ahead again until you see a passage surrounded by boulders on your left. (1) This is where you have to go. In the next room you will find the gloves of the soldier's armor set in a treasure chest, their armor value is 4 points. After you pick them up, go back the way you came and then turn left.
Follow your nose for a while until the path forks. You have to turn right. After some breaststroke go to the left bank and look around at coordinates -0292, 0450, -0037.
In the back cave wall to the water you will see an entrance blocked by boulders. (2) Shoot some explosive arrows at it. Now swim through there and turn left. There you will find another treasure chest containing the helmet of the set. It also has an armor value of 4 points.
Swim back the way you came, but don't enter the shore. Now turn right in the direction of the breastplate; there you will see a cave entrance with red mist in the background. Follow the nose again until you see a large portcullis on the left.
A bit further to the right you will also see a small passage with a larger boulder lying on the ground on the right side. Use Ultra Hand to move it aside and enter the passage below. At the end of it, use Ascent again to get to the floor above you.
In the next room you will find the last treasure chest with the chest plate. It has an armor value of 4 points, just like all the other parts. And that's it, you are now in possession of the complete soldier armor set.
