On Twitter, the developer of Escape From Tarkov has confirmed the date and time for the survival shooter’s next wipe. In addition, the new update 12.11 will then be released too.
Long worries: Over the past few weeks, fans and players have not agreed on what the crazy events might indicate. Now it is certain that this was a pre-wipe event. Because on Twitter, the Tarkov developer Battlestate Games is now confirming the date and time for the next Tarkov wipe.

The fog settles: One of the last events in Escape From Tarkov put a thick fog over the city. The weather report, which the devs also shared on Twitter, promises sunshine for June 30th. Even at the start of the event, many believed that the wipe would come here. So all fans should be right.
Date: The wipe for Escape From Tarkov comes on Wednesday, June 30th at 10:00 AM TLT (3:00 AM Germany. Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. US East Coast).
Update 12.11 will then also be released. This brings among other things an expansion of the factory map and the new Scav boss Tagilla.
What does a Wipe in Tarkov mean?
After the wipe, all players have to cede their progress, collected money, skills and equipment and start over. Not every player is happy about this, as the comments below the announcement demonstrate.
