The developers of Escape From Tarkov have been sharing hints about the upcoming wipe for days, and now we finally have a date when the new cycle will begin -- which will also bring the first In-Raid Trader and the Lighthouse expansion.
What do we know? Soon we can expect the wipe for Escape From Tarkov, which has already been teased by countless pre-wipe events in recent days. In the last two announcements in the form of letters, we have also received an almost clear signal from Battlestate Games: The wipe date seems to be known.
Here's what the clues show: Via Twitter, the developers have sprinkled some breadcrumbs into the crowd. As usual, the letters were in Russian, but fans were able to translate them very quickly. For example, the author talks about the fact that the lighthouse is already accessible and there is no trace of Lightkeeper.
Many players and YouTubers have already tried to reach the lighthouse island, but they were always killed by the invisible snipers. So the island is not open and apparently Lightkeeper is still here -- how does that fit together?
The date at which these letters were supposedly written is exciting. The two texts seem to come from the future and were written on June 30, 2022. Accordingly, it seems that the in-raid trader Lightkeeper disappeared only next Thursday.
When is the wipe? You've probably already put the puzzle together: By all appearances, the next wipe for Escape From Tarkov is coming next Thursday, June 30, 2022.
This is supported by the fact that it's a Thursday and wipes only come on Thursdays -- wink. But not only that: we already know for sure that the next Tarkov update 0.13 will bring the map expansion for Lighthouse, which unlocks the eponymous lighthouse.

How sure is the date? As always, there is no 100 percent confirmation or even a guarantee. However, there is no more likely date. All indications point to next Thursday. Should there be any changes to the current situation, we will inform you immediately.
