Grand Theft Auto 5 Online players aren't allowed to carry corpses, though they've been hoping for it for years, but a now-released leak for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) shows the online mode complete with desired mechanics.
What's going on? Grand Theft Auto 5 Online has been playable for almost 10 years now and hundreds of thousands of players still don't let go of it. But one feature has never existed in GTA 5 Online, no matter how loudly the community has called for it: You can't carry away fallen teammates or enemy corpses. Especially for stealth missions in GTA: Online, the feature would actually be indispensable. At least the successor GTA 6: Online seems to make up for this missed opportunity now.

What does the video show? The meant video lasts just seven seconds and shows only one action here: carrying a wounded character. We can see the player carrying either another player or an NPC in online mode after they have been wounded or completely finished off.
However, there is no new leak at all. The video was already released with the massive GTA 6's data leak from September 2022. Only back then, no one paid attention to this seemingly insignificant clip -- until now. Currently, to the surprise of developer Rockstar, users are again flushing dozens of clips onto the web.
On Reddit, many users are going wild right now because they didn't know or pay attention to the clip. However, most of them are happy about the new feature that finally allows them to get their enemies out of the way after the kill. User RocknDrums expresses that and another cool use-case pretty accurately:
The ability to transport corpses is exactly what we need for stealth missions in V/ Online. Especially with the improved Cayo guards. Just kill them and throw them into the water.
Imagine filling the trunk of your car with corpses and coming to a car meeting and opening the trunk

Even for role-playing servers that are sure to come later, carrying and stowing unconscious players offers previously unimagined possibilities. How about a hostage exchange or the handover of ransom money? Or threatening the hostile clan or faction with the player's head -- HAHA!
