What’s going on? Who would have thought it, Burger King partners up with Activision-Blizzard for a Whopper promotion to release a skin. The Burger Town skin from MW2 is currently so popular that people are selling it for €70 and more on Ebay. The problem is that Burger King is not participating in all countries of the world, for example Great Britain, Russia, Switzerland or even Germany are excluded from the action.
How to get the Burger Town Skin for Modern Warfare 2 worldwide
It is quite simple and requires only minimal knowledge of foreign languages. You install the Burger King app on your smartphone. Now select a region in a country where there is Burger Town action. In our example, that’s France.
Choose a restaurant and then a menu that has the MW2 logo on it. Here, you choose the smallest menu from the promotion. Instead of your first name, write “I just want to have the code for Modern Warfare 2” and complete the order. To make sure that the burger and fries are not completely wasted, you can say when you place your order that the burger can be given away. But we don’t know if this will really happen.
By the way, you have to enter your email address when ordering, because you will then receive the code for your Burger Town skin in MW2 plus a one-hour XP boost for Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer. The following Twitter user shows, that the skin is not region locked, as some fans think.

What is this skin? The Burger Town skin from MW2 is a man with a handsome mustache and a white shirt. The logo of Burger Town, the CoD equivalent of Burger King, is printed on this shirt. And only this fast food chain sells the skin.
In a total of 39 countries, you can get the Burger Town skin for a few euros, dollars, yen or gold doubloons. In many other countries, however, resellers charge horrendous prices of up to €70 for the skin code. But no matter where you live, you can get this skin for around €9 — food waste included.
