On February 15, Season 02 starts in Warzone 2.0, and Infinity Ward promises a new small map. They have presented the new map in more detail and published the first images.
Here’s what’s going on: With the upcoming Season 2, which starts on February 15, players of Warzone 2.0 will get another map for the game modes Resurgence and DMZ. The so-called small map is Ashika Island, which will provide more action and fast rounds due to its small size. Now the first images have surfaced.

Infinity Ward has officially unveiled the upcoming small map, Ashika Island. As the name suggests, it’s a small island with 7 points of interest:
- Ôganikku Farms
- Residential Area
- Town Center
- Tsuki Castle
- Shipwreck
- Beach Club
- Port Ashika
- Other locations not shown on the map:
- Apartments (to the right of Ôganikku Farms)
- Water Treatment (In the north, above Apartments)
The Asian-style map offers green space around the center, where Tsuki Castle is located, where players become easy targets. On the north of the island, you’ll find industry and residential areas, and on the east a ship graveyard.
On the west of the map, you will find the Town Center with its own harbor, administrative centers, and possibly a small shopping mall. Further south, you will find the Beach Club with a large swimming area and the port. To go unnoticed from A to B, you can swim along the underground waterways or use a boat.
In addition to all of this, data miners have found two new bosses in the Modern Warfare 2 game files. One of them is called Pyro and the other Trapper. While Pyro fights with his flamethrower in the open field, Trapper is supposed to lure players into traps instead of fighting them directly.
