What is this about? In this article we will tell you whenPlunder will be released in Warzone 2 and what content you can expect. We'll also show you all the changes from the previous game and the rewards you can get when you successfully complete a match:
Warzone 2's new game mode Plunder will be released already (today) on April 26, 2023 and will be playable from the afternoon. You can already download the corresponding update.
Originally, Plunder was supposed to be released with the launch of Season 3 Reloaded. Instead, you can play one of the best game modes in Warzone right now. Your knowledge of this game mode from the first Warzone might come in handy. Nevertheless, there are countless innovations and adjustments in terms of gameplay, winning conditions and gameplay!
This is what Plunder is all about: This new game mode is all about money. Teams jump off at the start of the game as usual via Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. However, the subsequent priority now is not to eliminate all opponents as quickly as possible, but to collect as much money as possible. Admittedly, this also works when you kill enemies - but more about the methods of collecting money later.
The team that has collected the largest amount of money after a timer expires wins the round. The money can be carried by the man or woman after the timer expires. Or you can secure a large portion with the help of balloons or helicopters. If you are killed, you lose all your money, but spawn again after 15 seconds. However, if you collect over $2 million, you trigger an extension where other teams get a chance to finish off the winning team.
Money in Warzone 2's Plunder isn't just needed for winning, though. You also use it to buy weapons, items, and tools like the Extraction Balloon.
Plunder explained TL:DR:

New Ranks for Winners: Instead of Platinum, Gold, and Silver, there are all-new - but more importantly - Ranks in Warzone 2's Plunder mode. The more money you have collected, the higher your rank at the end of a match. However, in our eyes, the new ranks are rather cryptic and don't immediately say "you were that good". Anyway, here are all the ranks in Plunder, sorted from highest to lowest:
New purchase system & insurance: In Plunder of Warzone 2 you will soon be able to make use of two new hedges:
Just like in DMZ and Warzone 2, there are rewards for completing certain tasks in Plunder. In total, there are nine different ones. Of these, many have come to light through a leak. Unfortunately, we cannot show these rewards, but we will do so later. Officially, we can only say that you can unlock vehicle camouflage, calling cards, emblems and so on.
