Cyberpunk 2077 does not always run smoothly on the PC either. To simply get more FPS, there is now the EZ-Optimizer tool that is supposed to increase the FPS by up to 30.

That's going on: Cyberpunk 2077 not only doesn't run well on the console but there are also FPS problems on the PC. Even with the latest RTX graphics cards, the game doesn't always run smoothly. The programmer CodeZ1LLa has now published a tool on his YouTube channel with which you can significantly increase the FPS.

More FPS thanks to EZ Optimizer

This is the EZ-Optimizer: According to CodeZ1LLa, the tool optimizes hidden developer settings that are not available to you as a player. According to this, EZ-Optimizer for Cyberpunk 2077 delivers a better result than just reducing the image quality.

To use the software, you have to put it in the Cyberpunk 2077 installation folder. Various virus tools have given the program the green light.

More about Cyberpunk 2077

The EZ Optimizer offers: The tool is relatively simple and offers only four options:

  • Max Boost: Offers the best possible image quality and a significant increase in performance. This option is highly recommended for the GeForce GTX 1060 and lower.
  • Balanced: Provides a reasonable balance between image quality and performance. Owners of the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti through the GeForce RTX 20 series (Turing) should use this option before trying the Max Boost preset.
  • Default: Resets the settings to the game's default configuration.
  • Disable Async Compute: This option improves the performance of GeForce GTX SKUs and is not recommended for the newer RTX models from Nvidia.

The tool itself is still under development and will probably receive further updates from the author. With a 1070 Ti, the frames were around 42 to 51 FPS before the tool started. In Max Boost mode, the FPS increased to 51 to 80 or more.
