Under Windows, Cyberpunk 2077 as of version 2.0 onwards stores your save games in a location that you don’t normally have in view. We’ll tell you the exact saving path.
Where Cyberpunk 2077 Stores Your Save Games
This is the path where Cyberpunk 2077 saves your game progress as of version 2.0:
\Users\Your Name\Saved Games\\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

This folder contains your game saves. If you want to save them, it’s best to make a backup of the entire folder. As you can see in the picture above, Cyberpunk 2077 produces a whole bunch of savegames, even if you don’t save manually that often.
If you only want to save the essentials, i.e. your manually created savegames, you are only interested in the folders “ManualSave” as well as “QuickSave 9” (this is the last created quick save). Your individual game settings for graphics, controls and sound are contained in another folder, see below.
Step-by-step instructions: Open the explorer and click in the left panel (“This PC”) on the folder “Saved Games”. In it, double-click the folder “CD Projekt Red” and then “Cyberpunk 2077”.
