In the Diablo 4 side quest "Raising Spirits" you have to raise the morale of Kyovashad's troops by encouraging them. We'll tell you how to do that.

What's it about? Many aspects of Diablo 4 are not sufficiently explained. So is the function of emotes and their effects on the people around you. In the side quest Raising Spirits, you are supposed to raise the morale of the troops with the help of emotes. However, the Diablo 4 beta does not tell you how exactly this works. We have a simple solution for you and show you how to complete the side quest.

Complete Raising Spirits with emotes - this is how it works

Here's where to find it: the mission sends you in search of the soldiers' training camp in Kyovashad. If you have not selected the mission as an active side quest, it will be displayed as a blue circle on the map. But be careful, you can easily miss it. If you have selected the "Raising Spirits" quest, the marker will tell you where to go.

How you motivate the soldiers: Once you have found the soldiers, Diablo 4 requires you to use the E key on the PC to raise the spirits of the troops. However, when you press E, you only get the option to wave, chat and zoom. Waving unsurprisingly doesn't lift anyone's spirits. But a free slot to the left of the waving tells you that you need to add a new emote here!

Hold down E and select the bottom option, Customize. Here you can now choose a new emote and insert it into the previously free slot. Select the action Cheer here. Execute Cheer afterward and Raising Spirits of the soldiers.
