Mike's “A Comedic Proposition” Friendship Quest will unlock once you reach Friendship Level 7 with him in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this guide, we will show you how to successfully complete Mike's third friendship quest.

Talk to Mike to start his 'A Comedic Proposition' quest. He'll explain his plan to build a comedy club in the valley. Mike has already picked three residents whom he thinks have comedy talent for his pre-show: Vanellope, WALL-E, and the Fairy Godmother. You need to chat with each of them about Mike's idea.
Report back to Mike with your conversations and results.
To unlock Vanellope's true potential, Mike suggests talking to Sulley, as he often hangs out with Vanellope. Sulley tells you that he regularly shares stories about other monsters from Monsters Inc. with Vanellope, and she loves them. As a gift for Vanellope, he proposes items to aid in comedy and advises bringing laugh canisters because Mike will definitely need them.
Your new task is to return to the realm of Monsters, Inc. and retrieve the items and laugh canisters Sulley mentioned.

Bring the rubber chicken and whoopee cushion to Vanellope, who is visibly delighted. Then report to Mike about Vanellope's reaction and your progress.
To find a place for the gathering, Mike asks you to create the comedic meet-and-greet decor. For this, you'll need to craft the following materials:
Bricks: Craft bricks on a workbench using 5x clay and 1x coal. You can mine coal from rocks and gather clay by removing bones on the Sunlit Plateau or by digging in the Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, and Forgotten Lands.
Fiber: Craft fiber on a workbench from 1x Seaweed, which yields 5x fiber. You can make seaweed from red algae on a workbench or fish in one of the many waters of the valley.
Iron Ingots: Mine rocks in the Glade of Trust, the Sunlit Plateau, the Forgotten Lands, the Frosted Heights, or the Forest of Valor to get iron ore. Craft iron ingots on a workbench using 5x iron ore and 1x coal for each ingot.

Bring Mike the crafted decoration for the comedic meet-and-greet and talk to him. He asks you to place the decoration in the valley to start the event. After placing the decoration, the meet-and-greet will begin, and you can take a photo of you and your friends. Talk to Mike after the event to complete the quest.
