Olaf’s “A Place of Joy” quest is the second quest you get from Olaf, in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Our walkthrough guide will show you how to successfully complete this quest.
What this quest is about: After getting rid of the snowstorm from Olaf’s first quest, Olaf will naturally have more ideas and tasks for you to help him with.
Dreamlight Valley: Gifts for Scar and Mother Gothel
To please the other villagers, Olaf wants to give them gifts that he wants you to collect.
Here’s what Olaf wants you to give them:
- 3x Salmon
- Fish from the white circles of the sunlit plateau and the frosted heights.
- 4x Red Bromeliad
- 4x White Passion Lily
- Found in the frosted heights.
- 1x Blue Passion Lily
- Can be found in the frosted heights.
After you’ve collected everything together, take the items to Olaf, who will make a bouquet out of the flowers.
Olaf Quest: Presenting Gifts
Now you have to watch Olaf handing over the presents to Scar and Mother Gothel. Unfortunately, he is a bit confused and gives the fish to Mother Gothel, who is not so happy about it. Since Scar has his moods, you offer to give him the gift, which Olaf accepts only too gladly. Find Scar and give him the bouquet of flowers, which, as expected, the lion is not happy about.
Build a stage for the storyteller of Dreamlight Valley.
Afterward, you’ll meet Olaf on the bridge of the sunlit plateau to tell him how Scar reacted. Olaf is sad that the two of them were not happy, even though he just wanted to please them. After the conversation, a memory appears, which you look at; on it, you can see: Olaf on a stage.
Olaf remembers that he was the official storyteller of the village, which he would like to become again. However, for this, he needs a stage, which must be built first. The following materials are needed to build the stage:
- 18x Softwood
- 4x Iron bars
- 4x Rope
- 1x Curtain, which you will get from Minnie
Once you have all the materials together, you are able to craft the stage at a workbench and hand it over to Olaf, which already completes the quest.
