To unlock Scar’s final quest, “How to Become a Ruler”, in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must have reached friendship level 10 with Scar and have unlocked the Forgotten Lands.
In Scar’s last quest, he invites you to eat with him before he asks you to bring him back something you once took from him as a ruler.
Scar’s last quest—a meal with Scar
Once you reach level 10 and unlock the Forgotten Lands, you can start Scar’s final quest by talking to him first. Scar wants to invite you for dinner, which you should prepare, of course, whereupon you will receive two recipes from him: Teriyaki Salmon and Snow White Gooseberry Pie.
Teriyaki Salmon
To prepare the Teriyaki Salmon, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1x soy
- Can be bought here: Goofy’s Stand on the Sunlit Plateau
- Growth time: 1 hour, 30 minutes
- 1x Salmon
- Can be caught here: Icy Heights, Sunlit Plateau
- 1x Sugar cane
- Can be bought here: Goofy’s stand on the beach
- Growth time: 7 minutes
- 1x Rice
- Can be bought here: Goofy’s stand in the glade of trust
- Growth time: 50 minutes
- 1x Ginger
- Can be harvested here: Forgotten Lands
After you have all the ingredients together, drag and drop the ingredients into a cooking pot to prepare the dish.
Snow Whites Gooseberry Pie
To prepare Snow Whites Gooseberry Pie, you need to collect the following ingredients:
- 1x gooseberries
- Can be harvested here: Icy Heights, Forgotten Land
- 1x wheat
- Can be bought here: Goofy’s stand at Peaceful Meadow
- Growth time: 1 minute
- 1x Butter
- Can be bought here: Chez Rémy (Rémy’s Restaurant).
After you have all the ingredients together, drag and drop the ingredients into a cooking pot to prepare the dish.
Once you have prepared both dishes, take them back to Scar, whereupon you will receive the next task of the quest.
Build Feeders for the Nectar Birds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After giving Scar the dishes, you’ll be given the task of talking to Merlin, after which you’ll be told the materials you need to collect to build feeders for the nectar birds that live on the sunlit plateau.
You will need these materials:
- 40x Soft wood
- Can be collected here, from the ground: Anywhere
- 10x Dark wood
- Can be collected here, from the ground: Forgotten land
- 20x Cotton
- Can be collected here: Sunlit plateau
- Can be bought here: Goofy’s stand on the sunlit plateau
- Growth time: 25 minutes
- 6x Red Bromeliad
- Can be picked here: sunlit plateau
- 6x Pink houseleek
- Can be picked here: sunlit plateau
After gathering all the materials together, your task is to build 2 feeders out of these and then place them by the pond on the sunlit plateau
Feeding Nectar Birds and Complete Scar’s Last Quest
Once you set up the feeders, you will be given the task of feeding the nectar birds, for which you will collect their favorite flowers, or flowers of the sunlit plateau, and bring them to them. To feed the nectar birds, you must get close to them and press the corresponding approach button. In total, you have to feed two sunlit plateau nectar birds.
After feeding the two Notary Birds, you’ll head to Scar’s cave, where you’ll enter and talk to Scar. During your conversation, an item spawns, which you pick up and give to Scar, after which you receive the final Vulcan Hearth—Scar’s last friendship level reward. Thus, you have successfully completed Scar’s last quest and played through his character.
