By reaching the second friendship level with Sulley in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you unlock his 'Monster Movie Night' quest. We'll show you how to successfully complete Sulley's first friendship quest.
Sulley's Quests:
To initiate this Level 2 friendship quest, you need to talk to Sulley. During the conversation, he mentions hosting a Monster Movie Night in the Valley, where he borrowed movies on videotapes from Scrooge McDuck.
Since he couldn't directly communicate with Scrooge, you speak with him and discover that Scrooge no longer lends out videotapes due to non-returns. However, Scrooge recalls a spooky movie borrowed by a resident, ideal for a Monster Movie Night.
While the resident failed to return the videotape, Scrooge provides you with three suspects:
Furthermore, Scrooge hints that the resident who rented the tape did so for a special occasion with a special person. Hence, the answer is clear: Mickey Mouse. Speak with Mickey to inquire about the missing videotape.
Mickey informs you that the last time he used the tape was in a cave at the Dazzling Beach, where he set up a screen to create a spooky atmosphere. You find the movie tape on the floor of the cursed cave, a location you're already familiar with from Merlin's 'With Great Power' quest. Dig it out and hand it over to Sulley.
To watch the movie, you've taken on the task of crafting the Big Scream TV. Now you need to collect or craft the following materials to make the TV:
Once you have all the materials, you can craft the Big Scream TV on a workbench and hand it over to Sulley.

Sulley suggests that you should ask Mike for help with the snacks, which is why you need to talk to Mike. Mike agrees to get the snacks and reminds you to dress casually for the movie night. Now you have to put on the following clothes for a cozy Monster Movie Night:
If you haven't received these clothing items yet, you can order them at Scrooge McDuck's shop. After you've changed into your casual outfit, talk to Sulley again.
The last thing you have to do now is to place the Big Scream TV in the Valley and host the event. After hosting the Monster Movie Night, you need to speak with Sulley one last time to complete the quest.
