Our editor Alex has been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley since the beginning of the Early Access. Here, he explains how to complete Rapunzel's quest "I've got a Dreamlight."
In this guide, you'll learn:
To unlock Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must own the recently released "A Rift in Time" DLC. You can get it for $30 on Steam. This guide pertains to Rapunzel's quest "I've got a Dreamlight," meaning you must have unlocked the young woman to play this story. You can find out how to do that in this guide.

In Rapunzel's level 4 friendship quest, the focus is on helping certain villagers fulfill their dreams. As often happens in Dreamlight Valley, this is achieved by collecting specific materials and cooking three- to five-star meals.
When you start Rapunzel's Friendship Quest "I've got a Dreamlight," your friendship is already at the fourth level. It's worth mentioning that a part of the task discussed here takes place in the Lagoon, so you must have unlocked this area in any case.
In your first conversation about this quest, Rapunzel informs you that her dream has finally come true, and now she wants to do the same for a few villagers of Dreamlight Valley. That means, of course, this is your task. First and foremost, Remy is to be pleased in this context.
The rat chef from Disney's animated film "Ratatouille" is gradually losing his passion for cooking and asks you to prepare a new dish from a recipe he provides. He is too busy to do it himself, as Remy says. Specifically, he wants a serving of Ruby Masoor Dal, a 3-star recipe. You should have the following ingredients ready:
After preparing the dish, give it to Remy. The culinary rat tastes it and shortly afterward already has a few new cooking ideas.
Your next client is Gaston. Poor guy is terribly bored, so Rapunzel suggests crafting an artificial monster. Rapunzel would then act as the helpless damsel threatened by the monster, so Gaston, the shining savior, can enter the stage.
But who is supposed to build this monster? Right, it's you once again. So, get ready to collect the following resources:
Return to Rapunzel in the tower and give her all these items. Once the monster is created, Gaston still needs to be encouraged to save the damsel in distress. As in many quests of Dreamlight Valley, a photo of the radiant hero Gaston concludes this sub-task. But Rapunzel's good deeds are not quite over with this.
Follow Rapunzel again. This time it's to a hidden cave at the Docks, where you engage in another conversation with her. You learn that the last person to be pleased is yourself - Rapunzel wants to reciprocate by thanking you for making her wish come true.
The grateful young lady now hands you an old Star Coin, which, according to her, you should throw into the well in the cave. We know that coins in certain wells are supposed to have the potential to make wishes come true. So, open your inventory, throw the coin into the water, and then speak to Rapunzel once again. With that, you have successfully completed the quest "I've got a Dreamlight."
Disney Dreamlight Valley has been available since December 5th for PC (Steam), macOS, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series X/S/One, and Nintendo Switch. The full version is priced at 40 dollars on all platforms, with the DLC “A Rift in Time” costing an additional 30 dollars.
