To unlock Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to start a quest that begins with picking up a sock. We'll explain how to unlock Stitch as another character in this guide.
Here's the deal: Even though he wasn't teased in a big way or given his own trailer, Stitch also found his way into Dreamlight Valley within the December update. We tell you how to unlock the popular and chaotic Disney character.
To start the quest that will help you get Stitch, you need to find a frozen sock. Go to the shimmering beach, and head to the island you come to when you walk through the shallow water. You probably already know the island from the quest where you repair the wreck and later unlock Ariel.
Once you have picked up the sock, you have to find its owner, who has the initials: DD. It can only be Donald Duck! Find him and talk to him.
Donald will give you the task of cleaning up the trash in his house to find clues. In total, you have to remove garbage five times until you find a technical little blue device. After that, you'll talk to Donald again.
You will find the second sock five days later on the peaceful meadow, next to the Pillar of Friendship. Pick it up, and another quest will start. Now you have to find the villager who owns the sock. As a clue, you see that the sock has a “G” sewn into it.
The sock belongs to Goofy! Your task is to return it to him. Once you've brought the sock to Goofy, you'll have to look for clues in his house by clearing away trash, just like you did at Donald's house before. After clearing all the garbage, you'll find blue fur, which you'll bring to Donald. Donald examines it with the strange device and the match rises to 66%.
The third sock appears exactly five days later, but this time in the Forest of Valor, on the side that borders the main square.
Collect them, and you will get the task to ask around whom the sock belongs to. For that, you have to talk to Merlin, Mickey, and Kristoff. Spoiler: The sock belongs to Merlin. Bring it to him, and you will be allowed to search for clues in Merlin's house by cleaning up the trash, just like you did in Goofy's and Donald's house before. This time you'll find a claw as a clue, which you'll also bring back to Donald.
Donald examines the third clue, the claw, again with the strange device, and it shows a 100% match. It also gives instructions to set up a beacon to initiate the landing. You receive the approach beacon from Donald, which you have to bring to the skull rock to set it up there. (To do this, open the construction menu)
Once you have done this, you will see an animation of Stitch in his spaceship crash landing in Dreamlight Valley. After a short conversation with Stitch, Donald gives you the task of setting up Stitch's house, which costs 10,000 coins.
Once Stitch's house is set up, he is an official resident of the Valley who also has 10 friendship levels you can achieve, including individual rewards per level achieved.
