In the new DMZ mode of Warzone 2, for some missions, you have to find dead drops and deliver items there. In this guide, we will explain what dead drops are and how you can find them.

What it’s about: The principle of dead drops is nothing new. Already in The Cycle: Frontier there were some of these hidden containers. The feature is mostly found in Extraction shooters. You collect items in your normal runs and stash them in your stash when you escape. For some missions, however, you’ll have to take items back with you to a new round and deliver them to hidden locations. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the dead drops in Warzone 2’s DMZ mode.

These are all the Locations for the Dead Drops in Warzone 2

There are a total of six different locations in Warzone 2, or DMZ, where you can find the dead drops. They come in the form of white trash containers and light up as soon as you are near them. That’s why we’re going to tell you how to find each container.

Dead Drop 1 – Alley Hotel Sawana

The first dead drop is located in the alley next to Hotel Sawana. This is located in sector 2 vol Al Mazrah.

Here’s how to find the dumpster in the alley:

Go to Al Mazrah City across the winding bridge.
Look for an alley with lots of trash cans there.
- Tip: Nearby is the Hotel Sawana.
In this alley, you will find a large dumpster. This is the dead drop.

Dead Drop 2 – Gas Station Mawizeh Marshlands

Also in the second sector of Al Mazrah is the gas station in the swamp. There you will also find a dead drop.

This is how you find the dumpster:

Go near the swamp of Mawizeh.
Go over the first bridge from the left (on the map).
Walk in the direction of the gas station.
On one wall you will see a big dumpster.
- Tip: Nearby you should be able to see a large power pole.

Dead Drop 3 – Junkyard Al Sharim

In sector 4 you will find the next dead drop and this is how you can find it:

Run near Ahkdar Village.
Go to the junkyard there.
Look for a yellow wall here.
- Tip: The wall is near a house in the west of Ahkdar.
There you will find the dumpster.

Dead Drop 4 – Al Sammam Cemetery

Now we’re off to Sector 5, where you’ll find the nearest dumpster north of the Al Sammam cemetery, so you’re guaranteed to find it:

Go to the cemetery and look for the adjacent road.
Follow it to the north.
Then you will come across some houses.
At a small white house, you will find the dead drop.

Dead Drop 5 – Mall Said City

Time for some shopping, because the nearest dumpster is near the mall in Said City. Here’s how to find your way there:

Go behind the large shopping mall in Said City.
Here you should quickly find the container on the wall.
- Tip: Nearby you can also find the South Bank Apartment, which you can open with the corresponding key.

Here you will find the dead drop near the mall.

Dead Drop 6 – Train Depot Quarry – Rohan Oil

The last dead drop can be found in the northeast of the map. We will now tell you in detail how to find it:

Enter the area between Rohan-Oil and Al-Safwa Quarry.
Look for the tracks there.
Follow them to the train depot.
Look for a metal building. There you will also find the last dead drop.
