Once you’ve improved your friendship with Woody in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll receive Woody’s second quest ”A Bit of a Fixer Upper”. Our guide will show you how to complete it.
This is what the “A Bit of a Fixer Upper”- quest is about: after Woody’s first quest, he’s ready to refurbish his carousel to turn it back into its old glamorous self, you’re supposed to help him with that.
Craft Carousel Repair Kit in Dreamlight Valley
To start the quest, you’ll first need to talk to Woody, who will tell you that he wants to spruce up his carousel to make it look like it did in its glory days. After that, you need to talk to Kristoff, who tells you that you should make a carousel repair kit. For this repair kit, you need to collect the following materials:
- 12x Soft Wood
- 5x Hard Wood
- 2x Fabric
- Make it from cotton on a workbench that you can find on the sunlit plateau or buy it in Goofy’s store.
- 1x Iron ingot
- Iron ingots are made from iron ore, which you can obtain by mining gems on the Sunlit Plateau, in the Forest of Valor, and in the Glade of Trust.
After gathering these materials, or even crafting them, you can make the Carousel Repair Kit at a workbench.
Bring this set to Woody and follow him to the merry-go-round, where you talk to him one more time. The carousel will be repaired, but there is no electricity. Now you have to go to Wall-E to help Woody.
Woody’s “A Bit of a Fixer Upper” Quest: Build a Fuse Box
WALL-E will give you a blueprint for a fuse box. However, to build it, you’ll need to travel to WALL-E’s world to get the following materials:
- 3x Replacement Fuse
- 2x Electrical component
You have to dig up both materials. The appropriate digging locations will be indicated by a glitter. After you’ve dug everything up, it’s now a matter of getting the rest of the materials. These are:
- 5x Hard Wood
- 1x Glass
- You can make it from sand at a workbench
- 1x Iron Ingot
Once you have everything in your inventory, you can craft the fuse box at a workbench.
Turn the Fuse Box on and Finish Woody’s Second Quest.
Deliver Woody the fuse box and follow him to the carousel one more time. He flips the switch after a short conversation and a big bang signals that things didn’t work out the way they were supposed to. To help Woody with the mess inside his carousel, your next task is to pick up the following items and parts of the machines:
- 10x Claw Machine Pieces
- 3x Alien Toy
- 1x The Claw
Once you’ve collected everything, talk to Woody one last time to complete his second quest.
