In the 12.11 update of Escape From Tarkov, many cool features, as well as new weapons and equipment, have been added. We take a close look at all of them.
The update: The content of Tarkov Update 12.11 does not only include new features like Scav-Karma. This includes cool weapons and strong armor as well. There are a total of four new items, two weapons, and two armor pieces. We will now clarify how good they really are!
The Thor CV protects the thorax and stomach. A repair at the dealer Prapor costs about 10,000 - 12,000 rubles. Then you lose some armor points as usual. Due to the already very low number of armor points, the Thor CV is more suitable for Tarkov's early game.
The Thor IC (Integrated Carrier) protects the abdomen and thorax, as well as both arms. A repair is rather critical here. Not only can you lose up to 10 armor points, it also costs between 50,000 and 150,000 rubles to repair the Thor IC. Due to the armor level, however, it is theoretically also suitable for the later course of the game. At least if you are ready to take the massive weight.
The new MP-155 shotgun is not uncommon, and you should find it fairly often. It is semi-automatic and can therefore deliver 40 RPM (rounds per minute). The muzzle velocity is 453 m/s.
The MK 47 Mutant is a mixture of the AR-15 and AK-M platforms. Often times they are simply referred to be AR-15s with AK magazines. The gun has a Picatinny rail on it. This allows the Mutant to carry numerous sights and scopes. The maximum range is an average of 500 m. However, the balls cover this distance in less than a second (589 m/s)
