Spawns, exits and landmarks on the Tarkov map Shoreline in 2022
You should know: Before you jump into your first raid on Shoreline, here’s some important information to consider.
- The maximum raid time is 50 minutes.
- Up to 13 players (PMCs) can spawn.
- You may encounter cultists in night raids.
- Sanitar can spawn at 3 different points.
- Did you know the map Shoreline is based on a real location in Russia?
All spawn points on the Escape From Tarkov map Shoreline
You can spawn at these locations: On each map in Escape from Tarkov there are different spawns where you randomly start your raid on that map. On Shoreline there are a total of 30 different points where you can spawn, these are located on almost all sides of the map, except for the north. (The coastal side)

On the Escape From Tarkov Map Shoreline there are 13 exits for PMCs and Scavs. With your PMC you can leave the map at 6 exits, but 2 of them are only open sometimes. As a Scav you can even use 8 exits. However, never all exits are usable for you in a raid, it always depends on your spawn which exits you can use to leave the map.

You can orientate yourself on the EFT Map Shoreline by these points
If you have just spawned and see almost nothing but forest, you can orient yourself at the weather station or the radio tower to get further into the center of the map or in the direction of the resort.
However, if there are many intact small houses around you, you are probably spawned in the village. There you can use the two fenced “cottages” and the small construction site as orientation. With the village behind you, walk to the center of the map, the Power Station. If the village is on your left, run south to the resort.
If you can spot the resort right after spawn, you’ll be spawned in the very south and can move north from there, passing the resort and using the weather station as a guide to get to the west, and the bus station to get to the east of the map.

Scav activity, boss location & tactics for fighting on Shoreline
Where are the scavs located? Especially many Scavs are located in the area of the resort, but also at the power station or the gas station you can meet some aggressive contemporaries who do everything to end your digital life as quickly as possible. But also in the village or at the cottages there are usually several Scavs, because almost all important points on the map Shoreline are waiting with some Scavs. The more deadly Sniper Scavs can only be found at the northern bunker and on the roof of the Power Station.
Where can you meet Boss Sanitar? You can find the boss on the Tarkov Shoreline Map in three different locations, the spawns haven’t changed in 2022. He can be found in and in front of the resort and is usually on the first floor there, he can also be in the fenced area of the cottages with his companions. The last point where the deadly trio can be is the pier. Due to the very narrow entrance to this area, Sanitar and his companions can get you into a dangerous situation especially quickly.
Sanitar and his companions and how to best confront them – Tactics
Behavior of Sanitar and his companions: a peculiarity of this troop is its high health, which is directly related to its main characteristic: If you hurt Sanitar or his companions, they will quickly try to move to cover to use various healing items. Besides classic healing, they usually have multiple injectors and often use grenades. Sanitar’s companions are also often equipped with level 5 armor, thus you’ll need good ammo or a steady hand for headshots. Also, the tactic of aiming for the legs with ammunition that has little penetration but a lot of damage can prove to be very effective.
Armament of Sanitar and his companions: Sanitar himself often carries a VSS with powerful ammunition, but his possible repertoire also includes an OP-SKS, a Model 870 shotgun or a PP91 Kedr. He carries his own special bag, usually filled with rare injectors, and has no armor. His companions use different AK variants in 7.62 as well as 5.45, moreover they can use a Saiga semi-automatic shotgun with drum magazine or a Vepr Hunter. They wear various helmets of level 4 or 5 such as the well-known Altyn helmet or a LZSh, usually with a visor to protect the face. When it comes to armor, they don’t skimp at all and almost always wear level 5 armor.

The most important Loot locations: As mentioned briefly at the beginning, the EFT map Shoreline was for a long time the Tarkov Eldorado par excellence, but even after there are now some comparably good maps, Shoreline still offers a lot of good locations for tons of loot in 2022. You should definitely visit the following spots:
- The village in the west is one of the very best areas in all of Tarkov to search for keys, as there are a total of 20 jackets there. There are also 6 fixed spawns for keys, many duffle bags, 9 hidden stashes and many toolboxes.
- After you can call some coveted keys your own, the resort is the next point for massive loot. There are an incredible amount of spawns for healing and injectors, but also weapons and mods as well as valuable objects like Tetriz, Bitcoin etc. are no rarity there.
- The eastern forest offers very many stash locations as well as the weather station where you can find some filing cabinets, a safe and various other loot.
- In the pier building you will find 2 PCs, 2 safes and 3 filing cabinets and some smaller items to loot.

Why are stashes so coveted? In these small stashes, you can find almost every item in the game. Thus, every stash you loot brings the opportunity to make a huge catch. Often these stashes are relatively easy to find once you know where they are, but some stashes are incredibly well hidden.
