To make sure you don’t miss a single drop, we’ve summarized and answered the most important questions about twitch drops in Hogwarts Legacy.
When will the drops be available on Twitch?
The Twitch Drops will start on February 7. From that day on, you have 17 days to participate. February 24 is the last day for drops.

What are the drops?
You can get the following items through Twitch drops:
- Silver Dragon-Eyed Spectacles
- Urchin Hat
- Carmine Lightning Bolt Scarf
- Lilac ensemble
How can you tell if a stream is participating in the drops?
You can see if a streamer is participating in the drops at the top of the stream chat.
How can you redeem your drops?
If you have been watching a stream long enough, the corresponding item will appear in your Twitch inventory.
Important: You must “collect” the drops from both this Twitch inventory page and the corresponding Hogwarts Legacy page in order to use the items later in Hogwarts Legacy.
All of these items are purely cosmetic items that will not give you any advantage in the game, but will only change the appearance of your wizard.
How to get Twitch Drops for Hogwarts Legacy
If you haven’t had any experience with Twitch Drops yet: don’t worry, it’s very easy and quick. The only requirements you have to meet to participate in the drops are: You need one account for Twitch and one for Warner Bros. Games. Both accounts are free, of course. You then have to connect these two accounts with each other. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Log in to your Warner Bros. account.
- Connect your account with your Twitch account.
- Log in to your Twitch account and check the connection.
- Watch a Twitch stream long enough to participate in the drops
On the official Hogwarts Legacy site, you can find a step-by-step guide that will help you connect your two accounts, or where you can log in directly. There you will also be able to redeem any drops you have received. As soon as you start Hogwarts Legacy, you can use the items you received as Twitch Drops.
You’ll also have the chance to get an exclusive bonus award by streaming on Avalanche Software’s Twitch channel. In exchange, you’ll get the cloak of the legendary wizard Merlin.
