You will need to destroy the eggs of the Spider Matriarch so that it does not notice it and they do not hatch. To achieve this, you will have to sneak up to it and have some equipment with you. Keep reading for more details!
How to Get Pest Control Achievement in Baldurs Gate 3
To complete the achievement in Act 1, you first must head to Blighted Village. There, you will have to go down the well or use the locked door just to the east of it, which will take you to Whispering Depths, and there you will find the Spider Matriarch.
But first, you need the Spiderstep Boots because they will give you immunity to the Enwebbed effect and also neutralize the slowdown from surfaces in the web. Below, on the map, you can see the location where you will find a chest with these boots.
Now you can go to the Spider Matriarch’s lair at coordinates X:-537; Y:-356. Equip the Spiderstep Boots on a character with ranged attacks and sneak closer to the eggs. One will be at a lower level, and two at a higher level, with one of them right next to the Spider Matriarch. Shoot one egg at a time so that it doesn’t notice and thus get the Pest Control achievement. By the way, it is not necessary to kill the Spider Matriarch for you to get it.
