How to Get & Use Watcher Greatsword in Baldur’s Gate 3

In Act 3, as soon as you reach the first gate, you will notice huge Steelwatchers roaming around. Later, you will get a mission to deactivate them in the Steel Watch Foundry. During this mission, you will have an opportunity to find and then equip the hugest sword in the game, and next, I will tell you how to do it.

BG3: Watcher Greatsword Location

For you to get the Watcher Greatsword, follow the next steps:

You first need to find Steel Watch Foundry in the Lower City of Act 3. It can be found at the coordinates X:-228 Y-179.

Then, lockpick the gate, deal with the Steelwatchers, get inside, and deal with the rest of the enemies.
Inside the Foundry, to the left of the main entrance near the wall, you can find the huge sword. Its exact coordinates are X:-288 Y-166.

How to Pick Up and Equip Watcher Greatsword in Baldur’s Gate 3

You need to have the maximum amount of strength to pick up the sword, so we recommend drinking the Elixir of Hill Giant Strength unless you have a character with 21 strength, and then you will have it in your inventory. And finally, to equip it, you just need to drag the equipped weapon to the Watcher Greatsword in your bag. Voila, now you have the huge sword right in your hands! It is a common Greatsword with 3d12+5 slashing damage. And yes, in the description it says that it can only be equipped by Steel Watchers, so it may be a bug, which will be fixed soon.
